41 Years of Roe v Wade
Here’s your chance to participate in the most massive abortion protest in U.S. History!
If you are wondering why “Red” Envelope Day is now “Life” Envelope Day, the answer is painfully simple. Our campaign was threatened with legal action by parties OUTSIDE the Pro-Life Movement, who took exception to use of the “red envelope” in the name we have used since 2010. We simply had no choice but to rename the campaign “Life Envelope Day”.

PA Republican Women, fight for life
Happy New Year! I look forward to uniting our efforts in 2014 as we continue to make an impact together in our communities, county, and great Commonwealth.
Roe v. Wade turns 41 on January 19, 2014. Since then, almost 57 million developing babies have died through abortion.
Operation Rescue has concluded an exhaustive survey of abortion clinics in the U.S. and is pleased to announce that it has documented a record number of abortion clinic closures in 2013, during which time 87 surgical abortion clinics halted abortions. These numbers show that the pro-life movement is gaining ground and that the abortion industry is collapsing.
There are still over 580 surgical abortion clinics in this country that remain open … let us continue to roll up our sleeves and work together to make this a culture that honors all life in this nation and in our state. No matter what happens politically, we can still help women choose life for their babies. There is no law against saving lives!
On January 27th, the Williamsport Lycoming County Council of Republican Women will be hosting a special Pro Life Luncheon at the Genetti Hotel beginning at 12 noon. We are pleased and honored to have with us Elizabeth Greenaway, Marketing Director for Expectations Women’s Center in Williamsport and Howard Langdon. As an attorney in Muncy, Howard is a powerful pro-life speaker and for over twenty years has served as Chairman of the Lycoming County Life Chain Coordinating Committee. Elizabeth’s enthusiasm for life and the ministry to women facing crisis pregnancies will impact you greatly.
Please do your best to attend. Why not invite guests to come along with you as well! Please RSVP Colleen Kemp at 570-584-6508 or email at: colleenkemp@windstream.net by Thursday, January 23rd. The cost of the luncheon is $12.00. Please choose from the following:
Grilled Chicken Spinach Salad with Walnuts and Craisins OR Cream of Broccoli Soup served with a Ham Wrap
Lemon Meringue Pie
Coffee (both decaf and regular) and iced tea
*** Also, please remember to bring diapers and/or wipes with you to be donated to Expectations Women’s Center in Williamsport.
The March for Life is January 22nd in Washington, DC. Buses will be leaving Beiters in So. Williamsport at 5:30 am and the cost per person is $15.00. Please let me know if you would like to attend.

Congressman Marino hold press conference to discuss the Rape Survivor Child Custody Act
Congressman Tom Marino will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 2:30 pm at the Selinsgrove Borough Council Chambers/Selinsgrove Library. During this time he will discuss a bill he is sponsoring regarding the Rape Survivor Child Custody Act. This bill encourages states to adopt a judicial mechanism to terminate specific parental rights based on clear and convincing evidence that a child was conceived through rape. It offers increased protection to the victim and to the child who would otherwise be subjected to an upbringing in a traumatic and unhealthy environment and supports the premise that “rapists should not have custody rights.” The public is invited to attend and show their support.
Fetal Murmurings
Fetal Murmurings
I’m just a little baby,
I really have no say;
But I’m to be aborted
And thrown away today!
I can’t speak out for myself,
My ‘right-to-life’s’ a fight;
“MAMA” has been brainwashed
Into thinking, “It’s all right.”
Because I’m still a fetus,
They think I’m not worthwhile;
Not enough to rearrange
And change their own lifestyle.
Don’t they know when I grow up,
A great help to many they’d see?
Perhaps one day, I’d cure cancer
Or a great leader be.
Because they think I’m worthless,
They’ll never know the JOY,
One has when they are holding
Their precious girl or boy!

They’ve Crossed the Line – A Patriot’s Guide to Religious Freedom
I recently read PA State Representative Stephen Bloom’s book They’ve Crossed the Line A Patriot’s Guide to Religious Freedom. What a great book! The forward is written by Senator Rick Santorum. It is a quick read and I encourage you do take the time and read it. So often we as Americans are told we do not have our freedoms and so many people throw their hands up and walk away. We do have religious freedoms, no matter if we are at school, work, or in a public place. It’s time more Christians stood up and fought.
