Drivers are needed to drive candidates to places. Driving can be exhausting and stressful. By having a driver the candidate can make phone calls, write letters, nap, etc. without having to worry about the responsibilities of driving. Also, there are those voters who will need a ride to the polls because they either cannot drive or do not have a vehicle. Every vote does count and we need to ensure every registered voter has a way to get to the polls. Volunteer on a campaign to be a driver.

Going door-to-door gives you personal contact with the voter. This will enable you to register voters if they are not registered, give them an absentee application if one is needed, educate the person on the candidates and the issues, or sign up volunteers to help on the campaign. Never go alone, and going with friends can be a lot of fun!
